JUNE 18, 2014 – WEDNESDAY
“The New Black”
Centering on the historic fight to win marriage equality in Maryland, “The New Black” takes viewers into the pews, the streets, and kitchen tables as it looks at how the African American community grapples with the divisive gay rights issue. Part of the Women and Girls Lead campaign, a public media initiative to focus, educate, and connect audiences worldwide. Panel discussion to follow.

JUNE 19, 2014 – THURSDAY
Featuring the live music of Caitlin Cannon and The Artillery. Dress in your fancy and fun party attire and join us for our Annual Pride Festival Cocktail Reception. Cash bar will feature wine, beer and a signature Pride 2014 cocktail, the “Wilde Ginger,” made with Skyy Ginger Vodka, organic lemonade and cranberry juice. Delicious hors d’oeuvres will be served by local caterer, Hot Tomatoes.

JUNE 20, 2014 – FRIDAY
Pride Festival Dance Party
Get your PRIDE on and rock the dance floor with Live Mixing by DJ Norman at the 2014 Pride Festival Dance Party.
LOCATION: Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Dr., Durango, CO 81301
TICKETS: $10.00 Advance ticket sales are available online (Pride Festival Dance Party 2014) and at Animas Trading Co. and Maria’s Bookshop in Durango. Tickets will be available at the door. Cash only.

JUNE 21, 2014 – SATURDAY
Animas River Float Parade
Decorate your raft, your tube, your boat (decorate yourself, too!) and join us as we take our Pride on the Animas River at the Annual Animas River Float Parade.
LOCATION: Put In: East 33rd St. & East 3rd Ave. – Take Out: Rotary Park, Durango, CO 81301
TIME: 10:30 am
Pride Festival in the Park – Family & Friends Picnic
Pack a picnic lunch, or purchase something delectable and refreshing when you get there, and come celebrate Four Corners Pride at the Annual Family & Friends Pride Picnic! Featuring a Beer Garden with beer on tap and live music, other highlights include astrology readings, chair massages, henna body art, a Children’s Area (3-12) featuring a bounce house and face painting, Youth Area (12-18) with games and contests, Vendor and Info Booths, including Pride items for sale. Summer Pride Fun for the whole family!
Please carpool as parking is limited.

Mountain Bike Ride
Join one of our very avid and knowledgeable LGBT mountain bike cyclists, Kevin Carabine, for a Sunday morning ride. He’ll lead you over some hill and some dale as you take in the refreshing mountain air and beautiful summer sights. A great way to wind down and around some local singletrack after all of the fabulous Pride weekend festivities.
